What Is It

A Free, Family & Volunteer Built Nightmare

Every October, Garden Valley Subdivision, off Sanford Avenue stops looking like itself. For months beforehand, your neighbors disappear into garages and backyards, wiring animatronics, rigging fog lines, and training scarers who take Halloween a little too seriously, so that for a handful of nights, the whole street can rise again. It's still free. It's just not exactly welcoming anymore.

The front of the trail keeps the lights low instead of off, built for families and younger trick-or-treaters, with a dedicated inflatable trail for the little ones. Cross into the back, and the rules change: fog rolls in, strobes cut the dark into pieces, and the scarers waiting back there don't clock out until the last scream does.
